BlueAnt V1: a silver knight in shining armor

Description and specifications

BlueAnt V1 is the more advanced brother of the BlueAnt Z9i and features the newer Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, and a world first: voice control via BlueGenie Voice Interface that allows the user to control the device without touching it (plus two volume buttons) and also tell the phone what to do. BlueAnt says this allowed them to install just one button that once pressed activates BlueGenie.

BlueAnt V1 can talk back to you when asked and will indicate battery level, successful pairings and such actions. BlueGenie was meant for in car use so the driver doesn’t have to move his hands of the wheel, but works well in other situations too. BlueAnt V1 wouldn’t be a good Bluetooth headset if it didn’t incorporate technologies like noise reduction (called Voice Isolation) and dual microphones (not for stereo sound but for clarity in noisy environments).

A special desk and car charger is delivered together with BlueAnt V1. For a little bit over 60$, the BlueAnt V1 is a bargain you can take advantage of and you have to consider the clean design, not Bluetooth headset like.
