Brando Steering Wheel Bluetooth MP3/FM Car Kit
Most Bluetooth car kits have the disadvantage of being placed too far of your reach thus requiring your attention too much, distracting you from the road. Brando solved this problem by attaching their Bluetooth MP3/FM Car Kit to that one thing you’re always holding on: the steering wheel. It’s so smart you wonder why anyone didn’t do it before.
The gadget is called Brando Steering Wheel Bluetooth MP3/FM Car Kit and comes with a Bluetooth speakerphone, a numeric numpad and, watch this, an MP3 player with FM transmitter. A detachable earpiece can be used for some private calling if you’re in the car with too many people. A monochrome LCD display comes in handy if you want to call one of the 600 contacts that can be held in the address book. Oh, and music is played directly from a microSD card.

Not stylish but efficient
From hardware point of view we have the Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR standard compliant chip, a built in rechargeable battery and line out to connect to earpiece extension and headphone. Switching between music and calling mode is done automatically so again you won’t get distracted trying to touch the buttons.
The integrated battery charges in 5.8 hours (that’s a lot) and gets depleted in 14 hours talk time via FM or 6.5 via the integrated speakerphone. Music playback via FM comes up at 13 hours. Charging is done via your car’s 12-24 V outlet so the mobility problem si almost solved this way.
The Brando Steering Wheel Bluetooth MP3/FM Car Kit can be bought from the manufacturer’s website for just 48 $.
