If you are a driver it is very important you buy yourself a Bluetooth headset. Of course if you have a stylish gray Mercedes you will probably also want a stylish Bluetooth headset. In this article we will present you the superb Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth Headset (Shield Gray) Bluetooth headset.

If you decide to buy the Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth Headset (Shield Gray) not only will you get a stylish headset, but you will also get a device that will let you have clear conversations in absolutely any context because of its amazing noise reduction feature. Do you ride a bicycle, or motorcycle often? Well out of my experience I know how annoying is to reach for your mobile phone while on your bike. If you buy the Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth Headset you will be able to communicate in winds up to 40 miles per hour. Is that not awesome? Motorola Endeavor™ HX1 Bluetooth® Headset

The Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth Headset (Shield Gray) uses a special technology called true bone conduction that was available until now only for military forces. This technology captures the vibrations of your jaw bones and turns them into speech. This is how you can get a very clear call even if there is a lot of background noise in the place from which you are calling.

Motorola HX1 Endeavor

If you decide to buy this new amazing product you get a box that includes the Endeavor™ HX1 Bluetooth Headset, the USB Wall Charger, four ear cushions, and the user guide. The user guide will help you understand all the functions this Bluetooth headset has.

Out of 20 user reviews on Amazon this product has a rating of three stars and a half out of five. Users are very satisfied with the noise reduction system of this headset, but some of them report that there was a problem with the delivery of the unit. Other users report contradictory things about the microphone. It seems some models did not have a good microphone and people complained that they could not hear those using this product and speaking to them. However these only seem to be a few exceptions.

If what you want is a good Bluetooth headset you could choose to buy this one or read more reviews and choose one that you like more. Good luck.

A stylish Bluetooth headset can greatly improve your life. At first such a statement may seem stupid, but the truth is small details really count in life. In this article we will present you the new Jawbone the Hero Bluetooth Headset.

The new Jawbone the Hero Bluetooth Headset is the most interesting Jawbone headset ever produced. It easy to operate with its two buttons: the On/Off slid switch and another button. It has the standard micro USB charging system so you will not have any problems with wires that do not have the correct plug. No need to carry wires around with you anymore.

Because of its simultaneous multipoint feature your Jawbone headset will be able to manage two calls at once. Although this may not seem very useful at first you will soon figure out that it can really be very helpful in certain situations.

The Jawbone the Hero Bluetooth Headset is very popular. As a consequence almost 50 users have reviewed it on Amazon. More than half of this reviewers gave this headset 5 stars out of 5, and the average rating of this headset is 4 stars out of 5. Of course, as with any device, not everyone can be satisfied by it, but the truth is this headset is a really good choice. Reviewers say that it is very easy to use and that the sound it provides and its microphone are of high quality. Some unsatisfied users report that the headset did not fit their ear, but these are only rare exceptions.

Jawbone the Hero

Even unsatisfied customers report that there was no problem except the fact that they did not manage to fit the Bluetooth in a comfortable way in their year. But not many have this problem so it is my belief you should not think about it too much.

The best thing you could do is to try out this headset in a shop and see if you like it. It is not a very cheap headset. It is priced at 77 dollars on Amazon, but you get a quality product for the extra dollars you pay. If you do not like it after you try it out you can look at other different products and choose a headset that fits your style. It is very important you find one that you like, because if you choose one you do not actually like you will end up not using it.

Plantronics is one of the best bluetooth headset manufacturers in the world and this shows in the way their products look, function and last through out the time. They’re raising the bar with every new model, and Discovery 655 is a proof, as it weights only 9 grams and includes a DSP that adjusts voice real time to make it sound exactly as you’re expecting.

Now, the highlights of Plantronics Discovery 655 (as described by the manufacturer), before we get to the test:

AudioIQ technology which improves the experience on both ends of the call, especially in noisy environments

Digital Signal Processing for crystal clear sound

Ultra-light and comfortable at only 9 gramsC

Charging pocket/case with vibrate ring alert

Soft gel ear tips in three sizes for optimal fit and comfort + optional ear stabilized (over the ear loop actually)

Easily recharge from your PC or mobile AC adapter

Package contents detailed

That’s what you can get if you buy the Plantronics Discovery 655, but let’s see what people are saying about the way it sounds: the multitude of options for wearing adjustments are welcome, but the complexity in charging was not that great (see the charging pocket that holds the headset when not in use and needs to be recharged itself). And the conclusion: it sounds great, providing very good value for money, especially now, that it comes at a discount.

Motorola has varied bluetooth headsets, ranging from ultra cheap to very expensive or high tech. Motorola H790 is one headset that puts a price on performance and young, fresh design. H790 is also Motorola’s thinnest dual mic headset, which means great sound quality in a small packaged.

Let’s see what Motorola H790 has to offer as main features in a short bullet list:

CrystalTalk technology that reduces background noise, making the headset useful for outdoor calls

dual mic for best human voice accuracy

multi point technology that allows the headset to be connected simultaneously to more than one device

7 days stand by time and 2 hours talk time from just 15 minutes of charging (useful for people on a hurry). Full charge talk time is 5 hours

EasyPair technology allows for faster connection initialization

voice prompts that tell you when the headset is paired, when volume mute is on or which phone is calling

So, on paper the Motorola H790 headset has everything you would think of from a modern cheap headset. Users who bought the Motorola H790 are impressed with the compact size and the good implementation of noise cancellation. USB charging is another plus for H790, as it allows you to carry just one USB cable, which can also be used for other devices, making for a smaller backpack which weights less. During everyday use, the Motorola H790 is very easy to carry around thanks to its low weight and is also secured very nice to your ear, even while jogging.

All in all, the Motorola H790 is a very good choice when it comes to an inexpensive headset but with good features. Now it comes with a very consistent price reduction.

We’ve presented the Aliph Jawbone Icon series a few weeks ago and now its time to take a look at The Thinker, one of the six models of this series. The other 5 are The Here, The Rogue, The Ace, The Catch and The Bombshell. All models have the same hardware specs, the differences being on the looks chapter and power-on ringtone, adapted for each model’s name scheme.

The whole Jawbone Icon series is meant to overtake the Jabra Stone in battery life, price and noise cancellation and they pretty much do it on paper and real life, as tests have shown. Also having six appearances to choose from makes it easy for consumers to get the model that best fits their style. All six models are very small, competing for the smallest bluetooth headset title (see more contenders in the link).

Schematics of The Thinker

One novelty that makes the Jawbone Icon an interesting choice is the MyTALK app store (consisting of AudioApps, DialApps and the MyTALK website) that allows you to customize your device even further with iPhone app for example that displays the battery indicator of the headset next to iPhone’s own indicator. AudioApps are voice packs for the onboard digital synthesizer announcer for battery level, caller ID while DialApps can be triggered by holding down on the multi-function button. MyTALK is free right now and the intention is for it to stay that way. Below is a short video that better explains how MyTALK works:

The main specs of the Aliph Jawbone Icon series are:

Length: 45 mm

Width: 18.25 mm

Height: 24 mm

Weight: 8.2 grams

Up to 4.5 hours talk time

Up to 10 days standby time

Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR compliant (range up to 33 ft or 10 meter)

Built-in rechargeable Li-ion polymer

MicroUSB standard connector interface

As audio quality is concerned Engadget has a short audio recording showing very good noise canceling being performed by the Aliph Jawbone Icon series headset:

As of package contents the box is pretty rich, featuring four sizes of earbuds and one earloop to hold tightly in place the mobile headset. A wall charger and an USB to micro-USB adapter is also present plus the manual and CD with software. Overall you get a lot for what you’re paying with the Aliph Jawbone Icon, which is currently a bestseller on Amazon.

There are times when you just need a particular gadget, the cheapest one, with no fancy functions and price tag as you need it just for rare occasions and nothing more. In case of Bluetooth headsets there are models that offer this for cheap and with simple design too. For Nokia, world’s biggest phone manufacturer, there’s the BH-102 headset, with a simple, black plastic design and one large (good for accessibility) multi function button.

You can mount it very easy by placing the rubber ear piece in your ear cavity or use the optional ear loop, included in the package of Nokia BH-102. I find the latter being more comfortable but I guess you can get used with the in-ear version too after a while.

Nokia BH-102 size comparison with a Nokia phone

On the specs side, Nokia BH-102 is a Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR compatible headset with handsfree profile 1.5 and headset profile 1.1. Effective range is 33 feet and the included rechargeable 110 mAh lithium-ion polymer battery is good for 10 hours talk time and 7.5 hours standby. That’s one of the advantages of cheap bluetooth headsets: no special technologies included means low power consumption that leads to great battery life.

From compatibility point of view, Nokia BH-102 is compatible with phones and devices supporting Bluetooth Specification v 2.0, 1.2 or 1.1, Handsfree Profile 1.5 or 1.0 and/or Headset Profile 1.1. Nokia even has a list with compatible models from their own store here.

The conclusion is clear: if you don’t want to spend too much money on a bluetooth headset, nor needing too much time to adjust to a complicated one, then go buy the Nokia BH-102. Remember that it’s not a high end device and no noise reduction technologies are provided.

If you’re more concerned about looks than performance of a gadget, then Motorola Motopure H12 is the bluetooth headset for you. From style point of view Motopure H12′s case is made from silver diamond cut metal alloy and is mounted in-ear with an ear hook/loop used to assure a tight fit. TrueComfort is the name given by Motorola for this mounting combination, that’s also flexible, allowing mounting on both ears.

As with any high-end Bluetooth headset, Motopure H12 features 2 microphones that are used to separate your voice from background noise and to detect and eliminate wind from the calling equation. CrystalTalk is the technology reuniting noise reduction, echo cancellation and wind reduction.

David Beckham likes the Motorola Motopure H12

From hardware point of view we can tell you Motorola Motopure H12 is compatible with Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR standard, charges via microUSB (comes with a desktop and mobile charging craddle) and lasts up to 8 days in standby or 5.5 hours of continuous talk time. In its advertisements Motorola used the image of David Beckham to market it so that’s the proof you’re looking for if you want to make a decision based on the way the headset looks, but don’t neglect the hardware specs that are on par with what competition offers.

Other technologies you might be interested in are Easy Pairing responsible with making fast connection to your Bluetooth devices, multipurpose button that’s used for several functions including answer, end, reject, mute and hold call, and a status LED that shows battery charge level. All in all, Motorola Motopure H12 is a gadget with a complete package that’s hard to be ignored.

If you ask most people what they want in a bluetooth headset you’ll most definitely hear things like reliability, sound quality in noisy environments, easy to reach buttons, good battery life and affordable price. It’s no hard science but a lot of products don’t offer all the things listed above because they focus on design, fancy buttons and strange mounting systems. Plantronics managed to take into consideration all those factors and produced the Explorer 360, a cheap and comfortable to use Bluetooth headset that’s even delivered with a car charger, necessary for people that use to talk a lot while traveling by car.

The 360 in the naming scheme comes I guess from the fact that you can use Plantronics Explorer 360 pretty much everywhere, every time (all day long because of the 8 hours rated talk time) and in any noise conditions. Plus it’s simple to operate thanks to the one big button used for answer/reject and redial. Of course this is not the only buttons as there are two more on the lower side that control volume during conversations.

Plantronics Explorer 360 has a simple design

The mounting system is a classic over the ear loop that can be adjusted also vertically. You really must be off the chart not to be able to mount Plantronics Explorer 360 comfortably. And comfort doesn’t mean just easy to wear but also easy to use: when turned on for the first time the headsets enters pairing mode for 10 minutes giving you plenty of time to pair it with your mobile headset. This feature is called QuickPair and is accessible later. A LED indicator flashing red and/or blue colors will indicate your current headset status.

Now frankly there are also issues with the Plantronics Explorer 360, the worst being highest volume, which is not great when there’s plenty of chatter around you. You should take into consideration that this is something very subjective, as many users reported they’ve successfully used Plantronics Explorer 360 in gaming scenarios, for chatting and listening to music, so it all depends on your expectations, but I tell you, for just 35$ it’s a steal compared to other expensive Bluetooth headsets (think over 50$). And it looks good too, with its slate blue metallic color.

Plantronics Explorer 330 is meant to be an easy to use headset, with classic design, comfortable fit and affordable price without affecting everyday performance. From usability point of view Plantronics used a single multifunction button for Explorer 330 that’s good for volume, answer/end call, last-number redial and voice-activated dialing.

As of comfort, Explorer 330 features a single adjustable ear loop that can be mounted on either left or right side. If you have big ears don’t worry, you’ll find a good position for you. As performance, users report easy pairing without having to input a security code, nice volume level (even on the high side) and up to 8 hours talk time and 240 standby.

As many modern headsets, Plantronics Explorer 330 is a class-2 device which means up to 33 meters effective range without signal degradation and wide compatibility range with other Bluetooth 2.0 gadgets. As a side note, Plantronics Explorer 330 is also available in Pink for the ladies. Price is set at a very low point, especially compared to other Plantronics devices.
