As you probably also know using your mobile phone while driving is really dangerous. It is also illegal in most states. Because of the fact that you remain with only one hand on your driving wheel you risk producing an accident. If you do not want to give up the conversations you have with your friends while driving there is a solution for you. Go find the Bluetooth headset that fits your style. With the help of a headset you will stop keeping a hand busy while driving and the road will become a safer place.

In this article we will present you the new Motorola H720 Bluetooth headset. It is normally priced at 50 dollars but on Amazon you can get it at a special price of 42 dollars. As you can see it is not the most expensive headset (nor is it exaggeratedly cheap).

Motorola H720

If you buy the Motorola H720 Bluetooth Headset (which is the new version of the popular H710) you will have a Bluetooth device with many interesting features. The Bluetooth has a rapid connect feature which will let you handle calls easily, with a very simple flip. It is a lightweight Bluetooth device so you will be able to wear it comfortably all throughout the day. A great advantage is that all your friends will hear you well because of the noise reduction feature this Bluetooth has. This Bluetooth is compatible with just about any Bluetooth enabled mobile phone and will let you have 8 hours of conversation. You receive a package that contains the actual headset, a wall charger and a guide if you decide to buy this device.

Users have been generally satisfied with this product. As a proof the H720 Motorola Bluetooth headset has a rating of 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon, with most users rating it as a five star product. Satisfied users report that this device probably has the best price quality ratio. A few unsatisfied users say that they had problems connecting the Bluetooth device to their mobile phones. However these are exceptional cases.

The Motorola H720 Bluetooth headset is certainly an interesting Bluetooth accessory choice. Go find yourself the best Bluetooth headset on the market for yourself and buy it.

Sony is not usually known for it generosity, as the name represents a premium brand, with products that reach deep into your pockets. That’s not the case today with the Sony DRBT101 stereo bluetooth headset that’s being offered at a significant discounted price, making possible to buy a quite inexpensive headset that’s backed up by the Sony quality guarantee.

Let’s see what the Sony DRBT101 bluetooth headset has to offer us: classic over the ear headset with two large ear cups, built-in microphone for phone calls, featuring Clear Voice technology for best human voice reception (it’s Sony’s way to tell us it’s got noise reduction), echo cancellation built in and Remote Control function buttons (AVCRP) placed on the headset.

The headset is Bluetooth 2.0 compliant, so it should work with the vast majority of the cellphones and MP3 players out there, but you should give it a try before you buy to be on the safe side.

Sony DRBT101 Wireless Stereo Headset

Now back to what customers are saying about Sony DRBT101 stereo bluetooth headset, to give you a better image about what you’re getting: sound quality is better than your average bluetooth headset, but you would have to move to a higher price range if you’re looking for an audiophile headset as this is not it, streaming over bluetooth is very smooth, without interruptions and the USB charging is one nice feature to have on any wireless headset.

There are also some drawbacks, but you could live with them: the headset is bulky and you’ll notice it plus the foam of the ear cups feels cheap, but takes pretty well the test of time. Overall we say the Sony DRBT101 is worth the price and will give you what you expect.

At some point the idea of wireless headsets seemed sci fi. If you wanted a headset for your mobile phone you would get a headset with wires that would annoy you. However today you can find dozens of different Bluetooth headsets. Some people prefer tiny headset accessories while others opt for Bluetooth stereo headset accessories. It all depends on your style and what you use the headset for. A headset for audiophiles we recommend is the Samsung Bluetooth Headset WEP870. People that often listen to music using their mobile phone usually prefer a stereo headset because such a headset provides higher quality sound.

The Samsung Bluetooth Headset WEP870 has a special noise cancelling feature so you will be able to have very clear call phones with everyone. In addition to this you will also be able to listen to all your favorite music at a very high quality.

Samsung is a well known brand you can trust. But even the most famous brands sometimes produce products that are not that great. This is why if you want to be sure you are buying a high quality product reading a few user opinions may be a great idea. People often share their opinions about the product after using it. The average customer rating for this product on Amazon is of 4 stars. 46 people have reviewed the product and most of them say that the Samsung Bluetooth Headset WEP870 is great. This headset is cheap so a number of users state that it is impossible for you to get a better headset at the price of this Samsung stereo headset. *cost- you can’t get a better headset for the price.

Samsung WEP870 stereo bluetooth headset

Many users agree that the design of this 30 dollar headset is amazing. As one of them says you can finally get a headset that does not make you look as if you were a dork.

One of the weaknesses found by many users for the product is that in order to make the sound perfect you also need to use an equalizer. However this is a simple problem to solve.

The new Samsung Bluetooth Headset WEP870 is a really great headset if you are looking for a nice looking headset with a budget price that you can use both for your phone calls and for listening to music.

Bluetooth is good for many purposes but most serious audiophiles always stay away from wireless audio streaming because of all the interferences and transmission problems that result in sound quality degradation. Sennheiser are serious when it comes to providing excellent sound quality so they’ve dug into wireless transfer mysteries and come up with PX 210 BT, a stereo bluetooth headset especially developed for audiophiles.

With Sennheiser PX 210 BT you don’t get to make/receive phone calls. This might be a stopper for some, but Sennheiser made clear that their product is made for music streaming and nothing more. They’ve used a Bluetooth 2.1 chip that was fitted with proprietary apt-X technology that uses a special algorithm to compress audio and requires a special Sennheiser dongle to be activated. Don’t worry as PX 210 BT can operate wireless without this dongle and they’re fitted with a 3.5 mm jack too in case you miss the good old cord.

Sennheiser PX 210 BT can be easily folded

Construction is also a strong point for Sennheiser PX 210 BT, starting with the two neodymium magnets and Sennheiser’s Duofol diaphragms fitted inside the retractable ear pads. Both pads can be rotated 90 degrees to form a low profile with the head band, marking for an easy to carry package.

The internal battery of Sennheiser PX 210 BT is of course rechargeable and is rated for 12 hours but I bet in actual use you won’t get there without lowering the volume. Interesting to note is that Sennheiser had put an international charger (not sure which connectors are included so you better ask before you buy) inside the package and that’s nice for those who travel abroad a lot.

As you can expect from a semiprofessional headset, the Sennheiser PX 210 BT sells for some hard cash, in this case a little over 200 $, a significant drop from the suggested retail price of 299$.

Sony DRBT160AS is a headset specially designed for harsh conditions like sports workouts. It’s been constructed in such a way to stick to you head no matter what thanks to the dual support mechanism that uses a hanger and a neckband allows for a secure fit in almost all conditions. Also the earpiece shaft is adjustable to fit as many ear sizes as possible, but we’d recommend you try first the Sony DRBT160AS to see if you’re comfortable with it as it not features a common shape. The neckband is made of soft elastomer that’s flexible enough to adjust to the size of your head.

Also as a measure for safe use during jogging and workouts are the moisture guards around the headphones. But enough with construction and let’s get to the point on how they perform. Tests and user opinions on Amazon revealed a good sound quality but the Sony DRBT160AS lacks a little when it comes to noise reduction during calls, so if you’re picky about that give them a rundown before purchasing. All in all Sony DRBT160AS is a great wireless headset for music auditions but no that good when it comes to making and taking calls.

Headset for sports: that's why the shape si awkward

Bluetooth power and control buttons are triangular in shape and sit behind each ear. The left earpiece includes the battery and charging port, and the right houses the controls: pairing button, call/answer plus a joystick with four positions for volume and track control. If you press the joystick it plays/pause the current track. All those buttons are responsive enough so you’ll adjust to them in no time.

A Bluetooth wireless headset is great for listening to music from your MP3 player, but what if you’re like us and like the good old 160 gigs iPod that doesn’t have Bluetooth connection? You’re either stuck with the wired headset for get something like the Plantronics Backbeat 906 Bluetooth stereo headset with included Bluetooth adapter (with 3.5 mm jack connector) that works with pretty much any old MP3 player that doesn’t support Bluetooth by default.

Plantronics Backbeat 906 has the same functions like the Backbeat 903 which we’ve reviewed earlier so you get the same AudioIQ technology from Altec Lansing that uses two microphones to isolate surrounding noise during an audition or important call. OpenMic is also present, allowing you to head what happens around you when you walk on a busy street for example and don’t want to be run over because you didn’t pay attention.

Compatibility is not a problem for Plantronics Backbeat 906

As for looks, while wearing the Backbeat 906 we bet no one will guess it get the tunes from an old MP3 player, as it looks astounding, with dual in ear earbuds and a flexible neckback, that makes storage a piece of cake. Being at base an Altec Lansing technology tour de force, the Plantronics Backbeat 906 offers great music quality, with deep bass levels and even representation of mid and high frequencies, just what you would expect from a quality headset. Given the discount it features now and the compatibility adapter, the Plantronics Backbeat 906 are a good choise if you’re seeking wireless freedom.

Plantronics not only makes great sounding headsets but also invests time in making them look good and the Backbeat 903 is no difference, with its behind the ear design with two in ear speakers and adjustable telescopic and swivel neckband. For the Backbeat 903, Plantronics used the technology patented by Altec Lansing which they bought a few years ago. The result is rich, full spectrum stereo audio and AudioIQ dual microphone technology that separates your voice during calls from background noise. For those moments when you want to hear surrounding sound, so you know, don’t get hit by a car, there’s the OpenMic function that cancels the noise reduction function (sounds weird but that’s the best way to describe it).

The two headphones have 14 mm speakers with bass boost feature and control buttons for play/pause, bass boost, call mute, volume and track control, besides the calls controls for answer/reject/redial. As for not in use storage, the flexible neck band folds easily and the Plantronics Backbeat 903 becomes a small gadget in your pocket or purse. Power comes from a rechargeable battery that lasts for up to 7 hours playback/talk time and 8 days standby.

It’s known that earbuds are the best compromise between portability and sound quality. Sony Ericsson know that and introduced the HBH-IS800 Bluetooth wireless stereo earbuds with a remote control placed on the wire united the two earpieces. Sony Ericsson took care of every detail, that’s why you’ll appreciate the design of the earbuds, bearing manufacturer’s logo and the special designed carrying case where you can store the headset while not in use.

Killer design

From sound quality standpoint the Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800 offers very deep bass levels, on par with current trends, but lack a little on the high and medium range, where the Nokia BH-905 really shines. As we’ve told earlier, the two earbuds are connected via a wire, which also contains the control remote, near the right piece. The remote contains buttons for call controll, on/off, play/pause and a white status LED for calls and a greed LED for charging/pairing status. The 80 mAh battery is charged to 90% in 2 hours and lasts up to 4 hours talk time and 3 hours wireless audio streaming plus 270 hours standby time. It’s a little less time for audition compared to other headsets but that’s the price to pay for portability.

So if you put high price on portability and don’t care too much about battery life or price as the Sony Ericsson’s HBH-IS800 are pretty expensive then you might want to consider purchasing them.

First control you’re urge to close this page cause of the 250+ $ price tag of the Nokia BH-905 and bear with me and see why those stereo headsets are that expensive. First they’re wireless, and second they have something that most bluetooth stereo headsets don’t: Active noise cancellation, a switch underside the left earpad that once pressed takes a second or two to activate and then almost all background noises have vanished, just like that. This makes BH-905 special as you can use them to play some music or just to eliminate background noise while you work in a busy office.

Nokia BH-905 not only eliminates unwanted noise, but has a very good sound quality overall plus it’s compatible with any device, not just ones with Bluetooth connectivity, thanks the inclusion of wired connectors with various kinds of jacks on one end. It’s impossible not to find something you need. As of design, you might not be impressed with the ‘classic’ over-the-ears shape of the BH-905 but the headset is very comfortable to use and this is what counts as the headband and the earpads are all cushioned. The earpads can be rotated so that the overall shape is a little more compact, especially useful for transportation.

Classic shape and great sound

All the control buttons are placed conveniently on the right earpad: one multifunction call button (used also to answer or redial the last number), play/pause button, FF and FR, volume rocker on the underside with Bluetooth status LED and wired audio connector.

The conclusion is this: want the best wireless headset that’s not as expensive as a house, then get the Nokia BH-905.

Most audiophiles stay away from wireless headsets because of the fact they fear the sound quality is not good enough without a wire to connect the headset to the mp3 player, but Sony with its DRBT50 premium stereo bluetooth headset is addressing those people.

The Sony DRBT50 features a classic DJ closed-back design with big cups to isolate your ears from the background noise that’s always distracting. Sony did a great job of keeping DRBT50′s weight down so that you won’t feel them too much during everyday use, but it put too small controls on the right earmuff which makes operating them a hit and miss if you’re not used to the headphones.

You can easy carry the Sony DRBT50 folded

The users reported the earpads are slime and comfortable to use, even with sunglasses, which is a great thing if you’re living in a sunny country. Sound quality is great, and bass is emphasized well enough for current trends. To take full advantage of Sony DRBT50 you’ll need a Bluetooth 2.0 device with compatible A2DP and AVRCP profiles (one for stereo streaming, one for remote control).

One more thing to consider: you’ll need a direct communication path with the device that’s transmitting the music to have the best audio quality, or else interference from obstacles will occur. The bottom line is that the Sony DRBT50 is a great headset if you care about sound quality, and it’s now offered at a very competitive price, especially because it doesn’t feature active noise cancelling.
