i.Tech VoiceClip 604: clip it, wear it, use it

Author: John Pope

As with many Bluetooth headsets, the main reason users don’t use them when performing dangerous tasks like driving is that they don’t want to look silly while using one, even if this might prevent something bad. It’s not logical, but that’s the way it works. i.Tech is trying to alleviate this problem with the latest VoiceLip 604 bluetooth headset that features a special clip mounting system that attaches to your clothes. The earpice (which is delivered with multiple size ear cups) features a cord with an inline microphone and a multifunction button that’s used to turn on/off the device, for pairing and answer/reject phone calls.

The inline microphone has to be placed close to the mouth for clear reception so I guess i.Tech didn’t fit any kind of noise reduction technology on VoiceClip 604, or not a very good one. Unfortunately we don’t have too many additional info about this headset besides the 59.99$ recommended retail price and the Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR compatibility. We’ll keep you updated with a review, once the unit comes by our office.
