Jabra EXTREME with super noise cancelling DSP

Author: John Pope

A Bluetooth headset is a bluetooth headset, not a very complicated device that works in almost any condition except noisy environments. Here’s where a good bluetooth headset shines and Jabra knows that as it worked continuously in past years to refine their DSPs with noise cancellation technology. The newest generation is called Noise Blockout Extreme and was already used in their Jabra Stone headset.

At CES Jabra announced the new generation of devices including Jabra Extreme Bluetooth headset and Jabra Cruiser external speakerphone for cars. Both devices are less expensive than the Jabra Stone, but pack the same performance thanks to the updated DSP that blocks up to 24 dB from the surrounding noise (double of what the previous generation was capable of).
