Orb: because bluetooth headsets can be beautiful
Almost 99% of cases bluetooth headsets are regarded as accessories, nothing more, nothing less, but from time to time some young and ambitious designer wants to prove us wrong. The Orb bluetooth headset is the result of one such moment.
The Orb is everything Bluetooth headsets aren’t: small, easy to carry with you and elegant. It’s the shape of a ring, but with a simple twist it gets “S” shaped and can be attached to the ear, just like an earring. Because small size has also its disadvantages, most notably the lack of volume in crowded areas, the Orb resolves this problem elegantly by using bone conduction to direct sound directly to your inner ear.

A Deluxe edition is also planned that will feature a Flexible Organic Light Emitting Device (FOLED) screen meant to show caller ID, calendar reminders, and voice-to-text information for communications before you take the ring off the finger.
None of those models is here on market today, but they’re planned for early 2010 appearance for prices which we consider “premium”: 129$ and 175$ for the Premium version. If you’re even more pretentious just wait a few more months for the Limited edition which encrusted jewelry.
