One thing we like about Plantronics is the care they take in designing all their headsets, wired, wireless or bluetooth. Even the cheap models are carefully designed to appeal to users. The Voyager 520 is no exception as it packs a nice modern design with ergonomic adjustments and top features like Multipoint Technology for switching between 2 Bluetooth phones with only 1 bluetooh headset.

A Noise-Canceling filter is set on the microphone to reduce unwanted background noise during a conversation. This setup makes the Plantronics Voyager 520 really shine even if you’re using it in large public places where chatter is always a problem. For reducing wind overlapping a Wind filter is used on the microphone, that work concurrently with the noise-canceling filter.

The ear loop has swivel and rotation joint so you can put and adjust it on either ear. Plantronics used an ingenious button that answers calls when is pressed and adjusts volume if it’s moved up or down (acting like a rocker). The only problem is that you’ll need a few hours to get used to it, but then you’ll appreciate its value. All in all, the Plantronics Voyager 520 is a pretty solid headset with an attractive price tag.
