Bluetooth 3.0 specifications were announced a while ago (April 2009 to be exact) by Bluetooth SIG committee but manufacturers didn’t rush to bring the new chips to market. But the wait is over as Samsung announced the first handset that will be compatible with Bluetooth 3.0 transfer protocol: the GT-S8500, a 3.1 high resolution OLED touchscreen cellphone powered by Samsung’s own OS with TouchWIZ UI. There’s not much elso to say as the Samsung is expected to officially announce the GT-S8500 at Barcelona in February during Mobile World Congress.
