Samsung Modus HM3500 can be converted to a stereo headset

Author: John Pope

Samsung knows what it’s doing when it comes to handsets and headsets, that’s been proven for the past yeas with the release of many excellent phones and bluetooth headsets. Modus HM3500 is no different, managing to be a little out of the ordinary with dual microphones, noise cancellation and the possibility to be used as a stereo headset thanks to a second wireless earbud that is delivered in the default package by Samsung. I bet that’s why they’ve called it Modus, because it’s modular and can be adjusted to the customer’s needs.

Samsung Modus HM3500 supports also multipoint technology, so you can pair it with up to two phones (or other types of devices) simultaneously and answer the first call that comes in. Because it’s made of two pieces expect up to 6 hours battery life, which is nice, but not extraordinary. The battery charges via MicroUSB, which is becoming standard these times on all headsets.  The Modus HM3500 was just announced at CTIA by Samsung, so we don’t know yet when it will become available and at what price point, but I don’t expect it to be cheap.
