Description and specifications
Behind the ear design headphones are becoming more and more popular even if they have major disadvantages like uncomfortable to wear for long periods for people with big ears and can’t be worn while laying on the bad because of the headband that touches your pillow. Samsung SBH500 is one such bluetooth stereo headset with comfortable ear cups that also help keeping background noise to a lower level and increase the acoustics.
Contrary to other stereo headphones, the Samsung SBH500 is low weight at just 74 grams and comes in three color combination: black, metallic red and metallic blue. On the left earmuff there’s the charging port, while on the other earmuff controls are placed for answer calls/redial last number, voice dialing, voice command plus adjustments for volume and skip tracks and of course play/pause. The main button is surrounded by a status LED that shows you what the device is doing at a given time. The right earmuff also accommodate a small protuberant microphone.

Samsung SBH500
During our tests we’ve seen that the behind the ear design is pretty uncomfortable to use for more than a few hours, but call quality and audio streaming are above average which is the most important thing. Given the sub 30$ price we have to recommend the Samsung SBH500 to anyone who likes to play some tunes without having to rely on wires.
