Samsung WEP500 can’t pass before your eyes without being noticed: it’s round and small (30mm x 28mm x 8mm and 8.5 grams), fits in ear and looks good with non ‘classic’ clothes. The package includes AC charger, three ear bud covers, and a charging/storage case (found also in other Samsung headsets). With the WEP500, Samsung addressed the problem with noise and echo in previous models, and we’re happy to report that those problems are almost completely gone as this model comes with noise and echo canceling technologies.

The casing is not glossy (we love this) and seems scratch resistant, a thing which might help keep the look of the headset longer. Battery life is not great, but will get you through the day: Samsung WEP500 will last 3.5 hours talk time and 80 hours in standby. The headset can be repositioned on either ears, so a plus for ergonomics here. A multifunction button performs the usual calling functions and two more volume buttons are the only moving parts of the WEP500. The active range of the WEP500 seems to be 15 feet, but sound degradation occurs after just 5 feet (enough from your ear to your purse or pocket).
