Tokyoflash Escape C bluetooth pendant

Author: John Pope

Tokyoflash is one of the most respected funky watches manufacturers because of it’s constant quest of building the best looking wrist watch with the most awkward way of telling time. In most cases you need the user manual to know how to read time on any of their models.

But Tokyoflash doesn’t just design watches as now they’ve took things to another level with the Kisai Escape C, a bluetooth pendant for wireless streaming designed from ground up taking into consideration the fans of this brand. When you first look at the Kisai  Escape C you think it’s some kind of an alien device but you soon realize it’s just a bluetooth headset that accepts any 3.5 mm jack earphone and pairs with your cellphone or mp3 player.

Buttons of the Kisai Escape C are positioned concentrically and offer dual function in case of pairing with a bluetooth device capable of making calls: volume, FR and FF, power on/off, answer/reject. The 3.5 mm jack is placed on the lower part of the pendant while the right side has some kind of crazy LEDs used to that display time.

The included rechargeable battery has a capacity of 200 mAh and is rated for up to 6 hours talk time or 180 hours stand-by. Tokyoflash Escape C can be paired with any Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Class 2 (up to 10 meters distance) compatible device. Escape C is not available now but it will be here in Q1 2010 for approximately 150 $.
